A Day in My Life…

Hey Friends! Tilly from Tilly and the Buttons interviewed me about a day in my life. I love Tilly and her sartorial penchant so head on over and read about how I do what I do and then hang around and have a look at her delightful creations.  Here’s your chance to ask me anything you want about my business too and I’ll answer! Yay! Thank you Tilly for allowing me the chance to be apart of this blogging series! Have a wonderful weekend readers!

  1. Loved the interview! Your job seems like so much fun. And what good timing that you’re trying out tailoring supplies for your coat because I just bought fabric for a planned tailored coat myself. Can’t wait to see what you bring in!

Also, have you thought about offering gift certificates for sale in your shop?

    1. I’ve been asked about that several times and its in the works! I’m just trying to finalize the details for them now! Thanks so much for your input!

    1. Why thank you! It can still be hard some days, but I am so in love with what I do I could faint from delight. I LOVE meeting people who sew – like the Sewing Summit meet-up with everyone! And I love being able to provide sewing items that are hard to find. Today, for example I just really felt appreciated and loved because several customers have written back happy emails. That really makes me smile! Yay!

  2. You are quite inspirational! I can’t wait to see your new jacket – your ideas, colour matchings and explanations are so great and easy to understand! Best of luck with your store and your personal sewing!

  3. I too enjoyed your interview over at Tilly’s site. It is nice to see your plans for growth and I look forward to seeing your line of products grow with you. I absolutely love my new tailors ham and seam roll, yours are awesome and you really go the extra mile with additional stuffing material. This is a personal touch that goes so beyond! Do not doubt that this level of service will set you apart from the average. The petershams are so soft too! It is very nice to be able to find these products, like you say, in one place. Keep on doing what you are doing, you inspire us!
